With so much happening as the seasons change, it is no wonder that as the nights draw in, in the Northern Hemisphere, our children often, but not always, tend to sleep a 'little' longer.  Presumably in the Southern Hemisphere the converse is true with the lighter nights. But here in the UK as the leaves fall children love shuffling through them making that rustling noise.

My own autistic son, Andrew, is not amused as his father shuffles through the leaves in the park or the streets.  But at least he is aware I'm doing it, and so raises the occasional giggle and reactive behaviour is better than no reaction.

How long now before the snow?  In many European countries, snow is already prevalent at altitude and the ski-ing has begun.  Father Christmas is therefore not far away and the magic of Christmas time only 69 days away.

Regards

Lawrence.
